Anonymous asked: What are some of your pet peeves?
Number one would be when people say “I had a panic/anxiety attack.” in order to exaggerate their circumstance. Likelihood is they have no idea what it’s like to have a real attack. It’s one of the worst experiences ever. And it’s nothing to be dramatized. I take it offensively as someone who has clinical anxiety. And for that matter, any jokes or misuse of literal sense of mental health ticks me off.
A less serious pet peeves of mine are people mistaking an octopus for a squid, and vice versa. Dirty nails. No turn signal when driving, or not turning right on red. Littering. Gum on the floor or under desks. Having my yawn interrupted, or people blessing me before I sneeze. Intentional bad grammar/spelling. Bad manners. One sided conversations. When people don’t clear the microwave numbers. Split ends. When people stare. Toilet paper that’s backwards. Telemarketors/Spam. Classic songs ruined. Hearing how wasted or high people got the night before. People who wear sunglasses indoors. Backwash. Perforated notebook paper that has all the scraggly part left on the side after being torn out. So many more, but I’ll leave it at that.
